Update:
If ANYONE gets the Napa caps, PAINT THEM!
They are NOT rust-proof. My initial set surface rusted, so I used my "spare" set to have some fun and painted them.
Picts of the results coming SOON . . .
(I glued them on tonight and they are drying overnight.)
Also, I would HIGHLY recommend something like RTV Silicone.
Why?
When I got new tires, they needed to pop them off to balance the rims. Since the RTV had dried, but remain pliable. So, I was able to just stick them back on. They were light enough to stay on and not fall off.
If I had used epoxy or a more permanent glue, I would have had an issue on my hands getting new rubber.

Oh, sorry for the delay . . .
I ended up being out-of-town for most of the last week.
I'll post as soon as I remember where we last left the camera (and computer plug), take some shots, and post.

I think I'm going to order a set of these baby moons for my OEM steelie "winter wheel" configuration. I'm going for the smallest size...8-7/8" outside diameter, which fits just inside the raised lip out side the lug nuts. Under $60 for a set of four including shipping (autoamenity.com). Will have to attach them with silicone...the trick will be to figure out how much silicone will securely attach them, but make it possible to get them off to change a flat.

From my experience, don't be afraid of using a fair amount of RTV!
It's bond is broken pretty easy, with a little "pop."
I've really gooped it on in some purposes and never had a problem getting it odd in the past.
Geezer, I love those caps.
If I manage to get a cheap STOCK steelie (and don't get those Slipstreams afterall), I might get some like that!

Hi Guys. I'm new to this forum and just got myself a 2009 XB in stingray metallic. I have been reading this forum and loved the idea about using the Napa caps so much that I did it also. I also put on chrome beauty rings and think it looks great!! The caps do rust really fast so I took mine off, hit em with a scouring pad and then sprayed them with rustoleum clear coat. It looks great now and no more rust.
